Care

Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth, or pass through sage or palo santo smoke. Place in moonlight for 2–4 hours to recharge.

Do not soak selenite or malachite. Selenite is water-soluble and will dull or flake; malachite is damaged by prolonged moisture. When in doubt, clean dry with a cloth rather than water.

The full story

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, and it has been tied to a quieter mind for a very long time. The ancient Greeks wore it to keep a clear head. Today most people reach for it on the days that need slowing down.

The beads on this bracelet are real amethyst, polished but not dyed. Look closely and you will see the colour move from pale lilac to deep wine, with faint streaks and clouds inside. That variation is how you know it came out of the ground and not out of a mould.

Many people wear it through the working day, then take it off before bed and rest it on the selenite that comes in the box. Others keep it on for meditation or a slow evening walk. There is no right way.

The stone trade passes through many hands, so we won't pretend to know the exact mine. What we can promise is that it is natural amethyst, or you get double your money back.

Questions

Is it really natural stone?
Yes. Every piece is natural stone, never glass or resin. If it isn't, we refund twice what you paid.

Will mine look exactly like the photo?
Close, not identical. Each piece is natural, so colour, banding and size vary a little.

Does it arrive safely?
It's wrapped and boxed by hand. If it arrives chipped or broken, send us a photo and we replace it.

Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Add your message in the gift note at checkout and we'll write it by hand.

Who's behind the packages

Every order that leaves our Canada-based studio is packed by hand — not a warehouse, not a fulfillment center.

If you got a handwritten note in your box, one of us wrote it. We're a small team, and we'd rather stay that way than hand this part off.

Natural stone, or double your money back.

Lookalikes sell online for $2–5. They're glass or dyed resin. Real stone is heavy and cool, every piece differs a little, and it has no air bubbles. If any stone we send is not natural, we refund twice what you paid.

WeightHeavy and cool in the hand. Glass feels light.
VariationNo two beads match. Perfectly even colour is dye.
BubblesHold a bead to the light. Bubbles mean glass.
